1. Introduction

At LogiqNote, your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using LogiqNote (“Service”), you agree to the terms described here.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following information to provide and improve our services:

  • Contact Info: Your name and email address (collected via Google/Apple Sign-In). Used for account creation, login, and communication. Linked to your identity.
  • User Content: AI-generated summaries, notes, and any text or files you create in LogiqNote. Linked to your account so you can access your content.
  • Audio Data: Audio you upload or record for transcription. Audio is processed in real time and deleted once transcription is complete. Transcripts are linked to your account for app functionality.
  • Usage Data: App interactions, session info, and anonymized analytics to help us improve the Service. Not linked to your identity.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To authenticate and manage your account
  • To generate and store AI-based notes and summaries
  • To process audio into transcripts (not stored permanently)
  • To provide customer support
  • To analyze anonymized usage data for app improvements

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Audio recordings are deleted immediately after processing. Account data (name, email, transcripts, summaries) is stored until you delete your account. When you delete your account, all linked data is permanently erased from our servers. This process is irreversible.

5. Data Security

  • All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest
  • We use secure, industry-standard cloud infrastructure
  • Access to data is restricted to authorized personnel only
  • Regular monitoring and security audits are conducted

While we use strong protections, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We only share limited information with trusted service providers as needed:

  • AI Processing: Audio and text are processed through third-party AI service - Open AI to generate summaries. Data is used only to fulfill your requests and not stored permanently by us.
  • Cloud Hosting: Account and transcript data are stored securely in cloud database - AWS.
  • Compliance: We may disclose data if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

7. Your Rights & Choices

  • Access and view your notes and transcripts in-app
  • Delete your content at any time
  • Delete your account permanently via in-app settings (removes all data linked to you)
  • Manage SSO permissions via your Apple/Google account settings

8. Children’s Privacy

LogiqNote is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have inadvertently collected such data, we will delete it promptly.

9. International Users

If you use LogiqNote outside your home country, your data may be transferred and stored in other jurisdictions with different data protection laws. We take steps to ensure your data is protected wherever it is processed.

10. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Any changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. In some cases, we may also notify you via email or in-app.
